It is amazing how much better people look now in game. DLAA looks better but reduces FPS. DLSS improves FPS but isnt quite as high quality. You can boost the DLSS on Quality and sharpness to max to help with that somewhat. On my new 4080 I have everything maxed and use DLSS on quality and sharpness to max. Thanks.
Use DLSS at least on balanced. Turn off chromatic aberration, motion blur and film grain. For everything else: start high and reduce until you reach the fps you require. First settings to turn down: cascading shadows and volumetric fog. Both do little and have high GPU impact in my opinion. MadCyborg12.
So just come across this thread while trying to troubleshoot my 30FPS experience of Cyberpunk 2077 with an RTX 3070. Tried all the suggested settings with zero change, but finally have found the issue, now getting a smooth 60 FPS. So in case anyone else comes across this going forward: In Settings -> Video-> Maximum FPS -> Off
